Members of ASGA can attend Free seminars about online retail, ecommerce and the digital economy.
In partnership with the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) ASGA is holding a series of seminars to assist the sporting goods and active lifestyle industry to take advantage of new market opportunties and to better understand the need for a multi channel appraoch to retail.
The first seminar, an introductory session was held in Melbourne on Wednesday, 13 April and was attended by over 150 retailers. Speakers at the event included, Google, Quantium, Colmar Brunton, The E Team, Marketing Angels, and Deals Direct.

Part three of the Engage in E-tail series hosted by ASGA and the Australian Retailers Association (ARA) will focus on mobile commerce and social media for retail. The keynote address will look at the growth of internet use and e-commerce on mobile devices, while other topics to be covered include: retail mobile presence - making your website mobile-friendly, mobile sites & applications; the growth of social media in retail – trends, statistics and research; practical advice, tips and best-practice when using social media in retail. A panel of leading practitioners will also share their best-practice experience in m-commerce and social media.
