    Executive Director’s Report The next few years look like they will be rocky, politically, with the Coalition being – just barely – returned as the Government. I don’t have the reflexive concern shared by a lot of people for governments that only hold a slim majority, as the Turnbull Government will have. We only need to see successful examples of state governments to see how well they can work.     Executive Director’s Report I’m very pleased to announce that Mick Spencer from sportswear company ONTHEGO, who recently received $600,000 funding from three investors on the hit Channel 10 reality show Shark Tank, will be presenting at the ASGA Conference on Thursday 23 June 2016. Mick will be talking about how he launched his business as a 21 year old from his parent’s house in Canberra, to supplying David Jones and launching in overseas markets including China, India and Fiji.     Executive Director’s Report I’m pleased to announce that Sally Bateman, Finance Director of Nike Australia, and Terry Dopper, General Manager – Sport at ARL, have been appointed to the Board of the Australian Sporting Goods Association (ASGA).
